Office of the National Project Manager is assigned to the Department of Planning and Coordination the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.

 

The Component comprises Administration, Financial Management, Procurement, Environmental Safeguard, Social Safeguard, Monitoring and Evaluation.

This Component facilitates the Coordination among the Project components while managing the project.

 

The Environmental Safeguard section produce the Rapid Environment Appraisals (REA), Initial Environmental Examination, Environmental Management Plan for 16 Sub watersheds located in the 10 target project districts Three Provinces. The environmental Management Plans are incorporated into the project activities and monitored quarterly by the Environmental Safeguard team.

 

The Social Safeguard section made sure the compliance of the Gender Action Plan (GAP) Ethnic Group Development Plan (EGDP), Involuntary Settlement and develops Grievance Redress Mechanism.

 

The Monitoring and Evaluation section conducted the baseline socio-economic survey and update them annually to track the changes of the socio economic development and the influence factors. The Project Design for Monitoring Framework (DMF) is updated quarterly.
